​Murlough Beach, located in county Down just a few min drive from our accommodation has stunning stretch of coastline known for it natural beauty and diverse landscapes. It forms parts of the Murlough National Nature Reserve, which is a designated area of special scientific interest.

Murlough Beach offers breathtaking views of the Mourne Mountains, making it a picturesque spot for photography and relaxation. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including seabirds, seals and diverse marine life. Bird watching is particularly popular here.

Walking and hiking trails are located around the beach and through the nearby nature reserve. Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike,you'll find options suitable for all fitness levels. Beach activities such as sunbathing, picnicking, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing or simply strolling along the sandy shoreline.

There is a designated car park near the beach making it easily accessible for visitors.
